Life Career Bio - Ed first learned magic at the age of five when his uncle gave him his first magic trick: cups and balls. He practiced for hours and then performed the trick for his family that very same evening. A week later he was found in the magic shop on the first of many trips. This was the start of a hobby that would last him for many years. He expanded beyond his first trick and put together a 30-minute magic show that he performed for his family on various occasions. At the tender age of 17, Ed competed in the Battle of Magicians in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Ed took first place. Ever since that fateful day, Ed has been performing all over the United States. In 1999 Ed placed fourth at the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas, Nevada at the world famous Tropicana Hotel and Casino. In 2000, Ed placed first at the Fox Family Channel Magic Competition.
