Edwin's Story
Life
After working for Shell Oil for 36 years as a geophysicist, I retired and we started seeing the United States in a fifth wheel RV. After doing this for 3 years and keeping a house, my wife and I (Bea) started RVing full time and have been doing this for 11 1/2 years. We're currently in Newport, OR, on the coast. We were only going to do this for 2 years but it kind of grows on you! We've enjoyed not only seeing this wonderful country and parts of Canada but also visiting friends and relatives but former classmates and work associates.

(started 4/18/1994), we have decided to come "off the road" and are having a house built in Conroe, TX, north of Houston. It will be completed by October. Will then be living like "normal" folks with no wheels under our house! It's been a "fun ride" but felt it was time to settle down when we still had an opportunity to choose when and where rather than be forced to do it in an emergency.
We have an Alaska cruise and land tour the end of May and then a loop to Michigan for work on the RV and then to Maryland to see our daughter and family including our 2 grandkids.
We are now settling into our new home. Looking forward to many years of enjoying our "new" lifestyle!
