Edwina's Story
College
Yes, I remember two: Annette and Marion (can't remember theirlast names) from Chandler. In high school it was MaryAnn Dupris and Alice Simmons. MaryAnn and I did a pantomime skit on stage. It was called TEMPTATION. We portrayed outselves as a couple of mountain dwellers. We were "in love" of course. She was the dancing country female and I played the part of the male with my teeth blackend and overall trousers playing a violin and she had a braided wig on and a tie
on her toe, and patches in her dress. We dressed as two country bumpkins and mimed the song "TEMPTATION".
We shocked everybody with that rather hilarious portrayal as we were both so very demure...Expand for more
and polite otherwise. We did the skit about 3 times at various places. The teachers were so surprised. MaryAnn and I worked on it for several weeks ~~ MaryAnn's MOM was our coach and she thought that the final "output" was hilarious. We never let on (beforehand) to the school body that we were going to do that skit and that it was us doing it. Everybody was shocked that it was us and that we could perform like that. Well, anyway, we had fun. I sure enjoyed my sleepovers at Alice's house. She is my best friend to this very day. Haven't heard from her lately, though and I hope that she is O.K. Alice was with me when I first met David Addison and decided to marry him.
