New Jersey State Parole Board Chief, Legislative Affairs and Community Outreach Job Description Legislative Duties: Definition Under the general direction of the Chairman of the State Parole Board, has charge of all programs related to the maintenance of an active, effective, liaison with the State Legislature and other State and Local government officials with regards to regulations and legislation; does related work as required. Personally conducts and directs lobbying efforts in coordination with the Governors Office, the Governor's Office staff and the Chairman of the State Parole Board. Monitors legislation and assists with the development and implementation of legislative strategies.
