Eileen's Story
Life
I went to college in NY, then to FSU, majored in English Education, married another FSUer, had 7 children, yes, 7 children! My husband and I have been married for 24 years. Our oldest son is a recent graduate from Covenant College. He is a sculptor, living in Chattanooga, specializing in large and life size pieces. He loves soccer (played through college). Our oldest daughter is a 3rd year nursing major at FSU. Second daughter is recent High School Grad planning to attend Tallahassee Community College. Then middle son is in High School, 3rd daughter is just starting High School, our youngest daughter is in Middle School, our youngest son is going into 4th grade. They are all pretty active in Sports, some on travel teams. I home schooled all of them for some of their school careers. All together, I home educated them for 16 years. We love our neighborhood, our home, our church, our kid's schools. We have been through some tough times: death of a parent, struggling teens, moving, changing jobs, etc. but God has always carried us through. We are Christians. I became a Christian when I was 21. I had been doing what I wanted since high school, not very successfully. I gave my heart to the Lord, and He has changed my life. We are members of a Baptist church, but have been members of charismatic churches in the past. It doesn't matter what church you go to, as long as the basis is the Bible. If you haven't ever considered the claims of Christ, you owe it to yourself, and your family to find out if there is any truth to it. It may change your life, too.
