CLASS OF 1968
Carbondale, CO

Eizzy's Story

After I graduated , I married Mike Leech, we had 3 wonderful children 2 boys and a girl, Christopher, Randy, and Michelle. Mike was drafted and did his 2 years in the army including a Vietnam tour. Returning to Carbondale after doing some moving around we lived there until 1978 at which time we moved to Cortez, Co. bought a home and have lived here since then. We partnered with my brother Joe and had our own construction business for a few years. I worked at the local Coast to Coast Store for 3 years and then at the hospital for 6 months before going to work for City Market in June of 1981. This was a good fit for me and I worked my way into management in th...Expand for more
e Bakery where I remained for 15 years, then moved to the front end as a cashier and then a front end manager. In 1997 Mike and I divorced and have both remained unmarried. With 32 years under my belt and the wear and tear on my body, it is time to call a halt to this work thing. I am presently in the process of retiring and it should be official Sept. 5, 13. I'm looking forward to doing a lot of things I have put on hold. Most recent I have invested in an online shopping mall. It offers a lot of products from everyday household items to cell phone service or travel reservations, you can check it out at: picknclick.zhuncity.com. Let me know what you think.
