Elaine's Story
After going to Purissima Elementary, Covington Jr High and Los Altos High, I went to two more high schools and graduated from Spring Woods Senior High in Houston, Texas. I promplly got married and divorced (no kids) before I was 21. I went on to get married to Mike Wike in 1978 and we were together until his death in 2010 (32 years married). We had 6 wonderful children, 3 boys and 3 girls, born in 1979, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1990 and 1993. We lost one son in 2007. I have 2 wonderful grandsons, b...Expand for more

I worked in the legal field since high school, starting as a part-time bookkeeper/receptionist/secretary, and advancing to full time legal secretary, then legal assistant, paralegal, and office manager. My husband became a lawyer in 1982 and in 1983 we opened his office where we worked together until his death. I still live in League City, which is between Houston and Galveston, Texas.
