ELAINE M. MARGUCCIO
AGE: 72 NEW BRUNSWICK
Elaine Marguccio died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 72 years old. Mrs. Marguccio was born in New Brunswick and was a lifetime resident of the city. She was employed by the City of New Brunswick Police Department for 26 years as a senior clerk typist and retired in 2010. Elaine was a longtime New York Yankees fan. She was also past-president of the Woodrow Wilson Elementary School P.T.A., as well as past-president of the New Brunswick High School Band Parents Association. She is survived by her children, Joseph P. Marguccio III of Las Vegas, William R. Marguccio of New Brunswick, and Kimberly M. Yatsko and her husband, Michael of Helmetta. She is also survived by her two sisters, Patricia A. Mangarella of New Brunswick, and Barbara A. Kotter and her husband Ted of East Brunswick, and her pet rabbit Scooter. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Services will begin at 8:45 a.m on Tuesday at the Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. A 9:30 a.m. funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Peace RC Church in North Brunswick. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in South Brunswick.
