Elaine's Story

After AHA, I went to Seton Hall, South Orange campus, graduating in 1969. Married a week later. Taught for a year at St Cecilia's in Kearny, then went to work at Prudential (group annuity dept) in Newark. Started law school nights and graduated in 1976 from Seton Hall Law. Stayed in the pension field, which continues to be good to me. Took in a nearly 14 year old boy (later adopted) on 32nd birthday. We all moved to Miami area in 1981, then I had baby boy in 1982. I raised sons there, divorced in 1999, moved to Everglades City FL in 2001. Paradise, with m...Expand for more
osquitos! First contact with AHA was a Florida Angels reunion recently in Ft Myers FL. Found out my cousin Linda (Harrison) is in Orlando area. Currently very busy in ECity as city councilwoman, involved with chamber of commerce, Lions Club and a host of other organizations. Loving life and singing in church choir (used to be a soprano, now alto) in our seasonal mission church. I wanted to go to our 40th reunion, but Hurricane Wilma interfered with that plan. Maybe the 45th will work for me. The Class of '65 is turning 65! Elaine (Hoffmann) Middelstaedt
