Elaine Hudson:  

Life After SHS graduation, I attended the Philadelphia College of Art, now the University of The Arts in Philadelphia. I graduated with a BFA in Art Education. I also graduated with my then husband, Bill. We had been married at the end of our junior year in college. I taught for five years, had a son,Ran, now 42 and a daughter, Alexis, now 39, For twelve years I worked for a local private school, which both the children attended. In 1990, besides getting divorced after 25 years of marriage, I went back to teaching in public school. I taught 4-6 grades Art in an inner city Wilmington School for 12 years. Three years ago I moved down to 1-4 grades and am enjoying it. There were few if any discipline problems and the kids were enthusiastic about my subject. I retired in June of 2006. I love to travel, and have been to both China and Alaska as well as all over the US,Canada and multiple trips to Europe...Expand for more
