Elaine's Story
I still work in Luxembourg for the European Commission as an IT technical communicator/bid writer. A lot of my free time is spent in France, either in Paris or Nice. Before that I was working for Siemens in Genova, Italy - documenting API for integration engineers.
I left Canada in 1976 to spend more than 20 years in Africa (Ivory Coast, Congo, Niger, Mauritania). My favorite passtime is playing my beloved piano that comes ev...Expand for more

My 2 daughters were raised in Africa and are now both back in Africa working in the Humanitarian field for 'Doctors without Borders' (one in onsite logistics and the other in program management).
I am happy to be alive and have been very lucky so far (although I am a little anxious about the global economy mess though.) The rest is yet to come.
