Elaine's Story
I met the love of my life in 1967 and have been married for almost 54 years. We have one son who works at Nordstrom's corporate office in the IT dept as a computer engineer. He and his lovely wife have given us 2 beautiful granddaughters. I am semi-retired as a teacher (English, drama, ceramics and art at Ramona High) and a counselor (Valhalla High School), but still work on special projects in the Grossmont District to pay for my travel and quilting habits. I also teach quilting in a couple of the local shops which I enjoy very much and am active in our local Calvary Chapel.

me and had never met my dad. Years later I did my Master's thesis on the Educational Effects on Children of Divorce and found out that I had acted out normally for 1/3 of the kids who had experienced divorce. Wow, me, normal-an epiphany:)
I have been a dental technician, a PSA stewardess, accountant for the company my husband ran, a professional potter and then got my education; graduating summa cum laude from SDSU. As many might remember, I was a reluctant student at Crawford, so doing well in college years later was important to me.
I gave my heart to Jesus when I was 27 and I credit Him with any good thing I have done. Life is good and I am thankful for every day.
