Elbert's Story
Being the III'rd, my family called me "Butch" to keep the Elberts delineated. The people who call me "Elbert" are Dragons.
In the Air Force, people started calling me "Ash"... I would suspect the reason is because that was usually what was left of the aircraft. The name sorta stuck.

My career has been in Silicon Valley computer science and wireless data communications. I have done start-ups and got up to CEO of a few mid-sized companies. All in all a fun time doing what I liked. Now relaxed and semi-retired with sailing, some consulting, and teaching.
Looking forward to the 50th next year. I'm sure there are a plethora of interesting fate twists hatched from our class.
