Eldon's Story
High School Teacher who taught in Kansas for 9 years before coming to Missouri in 1973 at William Chrisman & Truman High School. I retired from Truman H S in 1999. Have four children and 6 grand children. Live in Independence Mo. Semi retired. I like to travel. I am retired from the Navy Reserve and also served in the IIth Airborne Army for three years.I am substituting in the Independence School District at the present time. I keep busy with gardening and working in our church. This summer I went to my 41st church camp in Weir Kansas. Have 3 great grand daughters as of August 2014. Grand son who received his Eagle Scout award August 2014. Traveled to Oregon in August this year 2015. It is a beautiful state and was my 48th state. Alaska and North Dako...Expand for more
ta yet to go. Life has changed for me since Connie my wife passed away August 7th 2014. I just take one day at a time now. August 2016 I went to Alaska for my 49th State. It is a very beautiful state to visit. I like to go to Branson each year in November for a senior conference for our church association. I went to Cancun Mexico in May for a week which was quite a venture 2018. September 19th I went to Israel, which was a fantastic trip to experience where Jesus was and walked where he did. I have done a walk for the past 37 years to raise money for christian broadcasts and this year I did it by the sea of Galilee. It was fantastic. June 2019 I went to Rogers Arkansas for our National Church Association Meeting and got to meet several of our Missionaries.
