Life
My Commercial diplomas from Seward Park lead me to secretarial positions with the School of Visual Arts, Penn Central Railroad Legal Dept., Tanner & Friedman lawfirm, and IBM Corporation. IBM's downsizing in 1989 caused me to move from Boca Raton, Florida, to Georgia, and I decided to look at other career options. I now have a Masters degree in Professional Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am a Certified Addiction Counselor. I attempted to open my own practice last ...Expand for more
year, but I could not sustain it in this economy. I guess I am semi-retired, but I continue to look for ways to stay involved in my profession.
I have two sons; one a Major in the Air Force, and the other owns a tattoo shop. Both are married and doing well. I have three biological grandchildren and two step-grandchildren (if there is such a term). I have been living in Georgia for more than twenty years. Life is good when you stay in faith, and that is what keeps me going.
