Helen's Story
Hi everyone! I've been so happy to reacquaint my self with those of you who've written notes. It's brought back the good memories of oh so long ago. sses in a middle school in Pico Rivera, California, returning to New Mexico to do administrative work and teach. In 2006 my health forced me to retire (kicking and screaming, because I loved my work). I married Edmund, an ags ed professor and administrator with NMSU, in 1982. My mom and dad are in heaven, so I don't visit Portales much anymore. I've been fortunate to see some of my friends when I do visit. I look forward to reading your bios and perhaps getting a note or two from former classmates. I'll respond as soon as I can. God love you!
