Elena's Story
Life
My life in a nutshell has been interesting. I have been living and raising my children only a half hour from the good old GJR for about 26 years now. I married Keith Springett, yup, my sweetheart from GJR. We had 20 years and two children together. The children are grown and gone now. My youngest has two children of his own so I am a grandma :).
Most of my life I worked with emotionally disturbed children and their families in various situations. For the past 7 years or so I have been working with differently abled adults in the community. the "at risk" families and I'm lovin the change of pace.
For fun I create macrame art and sell it at local music and craft festivals. This is my fourth year doing this and some day, if I get good enough, I would love to retire and just create and sell. Sounds nice huh? I developed and published my own website (can't list it here) which is still in the development mode since I reciently took a photography class to make my pictures better. It's on my "gotta get to it " list.
I'm looking foward to getting to know everyone I recognize on this site again. I have some fantastic pictures of people and places (like Tisdales) to share.
