Eleonore's Story
After graduation from Mercy, I attended Nassau Community College for an Assoc. Degree. Met my husband and had 3 great daughters. We relocated to PA in 1982 for a new job opportunity. Enjoyed a new house on 10 acres, very common in PA and made lots of new friends through the children. Kept busy helping out a school and church which I enjoyed immensely. After 19 years of marriage, a divorce and starting over getting the girls settled with college, etc. I met my current husband Carl. We live in the same town, attended the same church and knew many of the same people. It's a wonder it took awhile. We starting dating in 2000 and got married in 2003. utical search. We travel and enjoy playing golf when time permits. Also visiting family and 5 grandchildren. My youngest daughter is getting married Memorial Day weekend in Baltimore.
We are building a house in Charleston, SC and hope to move in the summer. Looking forward to sunny, warmer weather and being close to the ocean.
We sold our home in PA and moved to Charleston, SC last August. Moved our businness as well which was quite a task. It's taken awhile but we are almost settled and have made many new friends. Most of our neighbors in the development are from other states other than SC. Weather and scenery is great. We are 12 minutes from the ocean. Our children will all have come down by the end of Sept to visit and get the Southern experience. We're glad we made the transition.
