Eli's Story
Life
born in McALESTER ,OKLAHOMA September 15, 1949.I moved to Los Angeles in 1951 to 117th and Willowbrook then Palm lane then 118th off Avalon then 120th and Main then 844 W.Plum St. Compton, Calif. then 944 W Laurel St,Cpt, CA.
I attended 118th St. Elementry; Willowbrook Jr Hi. Compton Hi , Univ. of Tulsa,Univ. of
Calif at San Diego ( John Muir College ).Harbor UCLA - Paramedic Training Institute.
In 1975 I Began work as a Fireman and I still work 32 years with Compton Fire and 34 years total with the City of Compton two years in parks and recreation.
I coached youth sports for 16 years in Compton ( baseball and basketball )and 6 years
Junior All America youth Football ( 1990 - 1997 )
32 years of civil service in the City of Compton has prepared me to have a fun filled retirement. My only problem is my wife of 23 years does not love me now and never did.

d I am not an angry person . I look to the future with great anticipation.
Nothing pleases me more than to meet old friends and classmates even if I do not remember you clearly.
While at Tulsa Univ.I helped found the Association of Black Collegians in 1968 Alex Haley was the First guest speaker that we had. WE all got a preview of ROOTS.
I am a virgo with a love of science fiction books and film.
I hate to argue but I welcome debate and I truly believe that you are entitled to your opinion.
My personal experience with third college at UCSD and the establishment of the minority college within the Univ. of Calif system was one of the most fullfilling events of my life,
If you remember me or not I am willing to meet all and any alumni of any school or jobthat I was a part of.
Now is the time for us to show leadership and help society progress and evolve to a better state of affairs.
