Life My Spouse At 19, I met my husband while we were working on the Boblo Boats. It was a great summer on the river. We dated for 5 years before getting married. This year we celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary. My Pets We currently have 1 dog, 1 cat and 1 fish (because he ate the other one). Our 5 year old lab/shepard mix is named Daisy. She was found by our neighbor as a pup. She had been abused by some kids. Our daughter and I fell in love with her instantly and we kept her. Our cat Mittens, now 2, was found by my sister when he was a kitten. All of our pets have been strays. Once during rush hour traffic I saw a small dog get hit by a car and roll to the middle embankment. Traffic as almost at a stand still when I realized the poor thing was still alive. Without thinking, I hopped out of my car, threw her into the back seat and drove directly to the vets office, sure that she would need to be put to sleep. She looked terrible, dirty and shaking violently. Moments after we arrived at vets office she stood up, shook herself and began wagging her tail. We named her Lucky and took her home.
