Life
I've been living in Tampa FL since Jun 1996. I retired from the Air Force on Jun 01 1999. I plan to make Tampa my perment home. I'm currently employed as a Department of Defense Employee (Civil Service). I'm still married to my high school sweetheart (34yrs) Linda Contreras (maiden name) and she is as beautiful as ever. We have three kids, Eliza (29), Marina (31) and David (35). David is married and has three kids. They all live in Pueblo Co. Eliza and Marina live here in Tampa, both are married and have 2 kids each. We've been Moving around for almost 23 years so we're glad to finally settle down. We left San Angelo in Oct 1976. We've lived an exciting life traveling to different countries and meeting people from diverse cultures. Our first assignment was to Ft. Worth for a couple of years. We transferred to Naples Italy in Oct 1978. Two and a half years later (May 1981), we got an assignment to Tampa FL. seven years I had to take an unaccompied assignment to the Philippines for a whole year (Aug 84-Aug 85). When I returned we lived here in Tampa until Oct 1988. We transferred to Brindisi Italy which is just a ferryboat ride from the Greek Isle of Corphu. we lived there only 17 months. We then moved to Colorado Springs. We lived there for six years until moving back to Tampa in Jun 1996. Tampa weather is great and allows us to enjoy outdoor activities yearround. Classic cars and motorcycle riding are our favorite pass times/hobbies. Currently we're working on a 1965 Chevy II. Our motorcycles are a 1992 Harley Davidson 1200cc Sportster and a 2002 Harley Davidson Fatboy. We ride to the beach on the weekends and sometimes ride with the American Legion bike club. Bike week in Daytona is another favorite function that we try to attend.
