Life Believe it or not, someone married me-two people now. Richard Thomas married me when he was a mere 20 years old in 1988. Divorced in 2009. Mariah was born in 1993. I have been told more than necessary that Mariah sounds and acts exactly like me(God help her). I work hard all day and make sure that I make it home to take Mariah to her basketball practice. I spend a lot of my existance running Mariah around town to do things with her friends. I am a Booster club Mom, an adult Girl Scout Leader,and that is home. At work I pretend to be a professional-but my coworkers know that I am just one wind away from acting crazy-I love to have fun at work. We try to make it up to Ohio as much as we can to see Eddie's brood, and make monthly trips to Knoxville to see Amy's brood, as well as my in laws. Mom passed away in 2014. and Dad lives in Sevierville, so I see him too. College I started my freshman year at Ohio State(mansfield) during the Fall 1984. Jeanie Teynor and I would drive there everyday. My Mom and Dad moved to Sevierville, TN in 1985, and I then moved there with them August 1985 and attended Walters state for a few years. Married Richard in 1988, moved to Nashville and finished school at Tennessee State University with my BS Mass Communications/Public Relations. While attending a historically African American College, I discovered what it was like to be a minority, and was attending during the time of forced integration when Tennessee required TSU to integrate more whites or they would lose federal and State funding.
