Elizabeth's Story
It seems like High School was a very long time ago, I have been so busy raising a family. I have been married for 23 years (this December 17), I got married my junior year of HS, finished that year at Clay High, then we moved to NC. I started my senior year at AL Brown High School. I only knew 2 ppl there,(I worked with them at Burger King). I only had to go half a day, because I had enough credits to graduate, plus I took a class that gave me 2 credits for working a job after school everyday. So thats how the year of 87 started. Then in December I got pregant with my son, when I graduated June 1 (my sister's Birthday) I was 6 months along. My son was born Sept 13 (on my mom's Birthday). Ten days after I turned 18, almost 2 years after I was married. He is now 21 and a marine. I am very rdoud of him, he is stationed in Iraq. I worry everyday!!!! How could I not? I just pray that God keeps him safe!!! Then when I was 21 (almost) my firstdaughter was born, she is 18 and married and pregnant withmy first grandhild. In total I have 5 kids, 21, 18, 11, 6 and 6 months are their ages. First a boy and the 6 year old is...Expand for more
a boy, and you guesed it, lol, the other 3 are girls. Mylife is mostly centered around my kids (and husband). But mostly the kids!! I am very proud of them, I wouldnt tradethem for all thegold in the world, they mean everything to me. Having a baby that is 20 and ahalf years younger than my first, I guess some people would hate that, but I have found that I trully love it. She is such a blessing, and so special. I have discovered that life is not always easyand I have made mistakes, we all do, butI have tried tolearn from mine, soI wont make thesame ones again. We decided to move back after living inNC for 11 years. That was a hard move. Our life was there, everything I knew was there, but we did it, and I am glad We did. I attend the school reunions to catch up with old friends, it is alot of funto see what everyone is doing and what they have done in their lives. I look forward to the rest of my life with my husband and my kids, and grands, I know that I will enjoy it, and have fun living it, life was meant to enjoy, not just to work and make money. Take time so smell the roses, they dont last forever!!
