Elizabeth's Story
Life
After we graduated in 1960, I went on to Molloy College and earned a degree in elementary ed. However I didn't want to teach right away and so I got a job in NYC in advertising. Met my husband Morty,went into teaching later for 5 years, moved first to Roslyn and then to Huntington. Had two daughters,quit for a bit. Got my masters in Library Science,worked first in the public library and then for Bellmore Public schools as a children's librarina/teacher for 21 years. My wonderful husband Morty died in 1999 and two years later I met Bob Bange, a retired IBMer. We married in 2003. I retired in June 2002. Since then we have been non stop traveling - Austria, Switzerland. Germany. Italy, Spain, Portuga...Expand for more
l, New Zealand, Australia and of course all over the US from Florida to the mid west to the far west, California and Hawaii. I have 2 granchildren - Charlie - 5 months- from my oldest daughter Jennifer and her husband George (Healy) and Morgan - 2 years - from my youngest daughter Cara and her husband Patrick (Puzzuoli). Cara and Patrick are expecting a second in August 2006. Life is good. We live in Huntington full time. We had purchased a Florida place but didn't really use it as we prefer to travel during the cold months and see our grandchildren the rest of the year. Bob has two and one on the way. Hope all is well with everyone and hope we have another reunion. Love to see you all again and catch up.
