Elizabeth's Story
After graduation, I attended ASU for a short time. I started working for the Arizona Department of Transportation when I was 18 and stayed (to my surprise) for 30 + years. I worked in various areas withing ADOT, my last being the financial manager of the Public Transportation Division. I married my first husband in 1973,and we divorced in 1979. yed my single life for 16 years, and then met my current husband John; I can definitely attest to the fact that "Love is lovelier the second time around." I've been retired for two years. I now spend my time volunteering tutoring to children, designing and selling jewelry, taking classes and doing whatever I want. I do think I'd like to get a part-time job, but have not got around to that yet.
