Elizabeth's Story

Life After Graduation I moved to Des Moines, IA where I jumped right in to the workforce. After a quick year in Tampa, FL in 1988, I moved back. I've experienced different jobs such as finance, law office, insurance and catering, but now work for an LTL carrier called Con-Way Freight. I've been with CCX since 1998. I got married on May 12, 2006 to Joe Akers. Joe is a driver with Con-way. He enjoys running in marathons, plays softball and loves hot rods. Noah, my son, is 8 yrs old now. It's 2008. He is a handful, but worth it! He is doing well in school and is interested in just about everything. He is taking piano lessons and will start soccer in the Spring and is in Scouts as well. I enjoy reading and learning about health issues and have been doing the orga...Expand for more

French Bread Breakfast: Take a french loaf and cut 1 inch or so pieces of bread. Push the center in so the bread is flat at the bottom. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray and bread will not stick. Preheat oven to 350 deg
