Elizabeth's Story
Life
After getting married in September of 1998, my husband and I spent the next 7 years traveling the country with the Military. We have lived in Louisiana, Georgia and in New York, but have traveled everywhere in between. I moved back for a little over a year while he was in Korea, and then again while he served in Iraq. We have a little girl named Jade, who is now 5, although she acts like shes going on 15.
I've taught piano everywhere we've lived, but moving from place to place, although it's been a blast, has been hard to start over every new place we go. But now that we've settled,...Expand for more
I am currently teaching lessons five days a week and loving it. The rest of the time, I get to stay home and play with Jade.
My husband and I decided to move to Utah, about 3 years ago, and he started working at Camp Williams. He is now in Alabama flying Black Hawks, but will be done sometime this summer. We built a home in Eagle Mountain so he could be close to work while he was working at C.W. and that is where Jade and I are while he finishes up school in AL. I've loved moving, but having to move every year and a half, to two years gets a little exhausting. It's good to be settled!
