Elizabeth's Story
Wow, Classmates.com literally changed my life! In November 2007 I received an email from an old high school friend, Jim Thompson. We began emailing each other; he was in FL and I was in SC. After a month or so of emails he called me, and from the second he said, "Hey, what's up?" it was like the last 30+ years hadn't existed. It was the most natural, comfortable thing in the world. We were right back in 1975; cutting up with each other, joking, flirting! By April of 2008 we realized the phone just wasn't good enough so we arranged to meet again. for a visit and as soon as we hugged, it felt like we'd never been apart. He stayed for the weekend and then we went back to the emails and phone calls. In May I went to FL to see him. He lived at the beach and we had a wonderful time. We were definately falling in love. Long story short, he left his job, his church, and all of his friends and moved to SC to be with me in August 2008. We got married on September 9, 2009! I have seriously married my best friend. This is unlike any relationship I've ever had and I couldn't be happier! Thank you classmates.com!!!!
