Elizabeth's Story
While attending Ramona High I was in modern dance and an art major. I helped to form 'The Group,' an association not sponsored by Ramona High and loosely based on the "In Crowd," of that era.
I worked in the gaming industry as a table games dealer, pit supervisor and table games pit manager, in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe until 2001.
I received my BA from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I was a member in good standing in honors society Phi Kappa Phi and graduated with distinction, winner of C.Wright Mills award.
I took up my art again after leaving the gaming industry. I am a member of the Nevada Watercolor Society, Western Federation of Watercolor Societies, and South...Expand for more
ern Utah Watercolor Society. I am a signiture member of NVWS and SUWS. I have studied with various workshop watercolorists including, Don Andrews, Carl Purcell, Betsy Dillard Stroud and others. I continue to pursue my art and enjoy the life my husband and I have made here in southern Utah.
I am blessed to have a son, a daughter, two step daughters, seven grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
Life, thus far, has taught me many things which can be summed up in part; "The more I learn the more I realize how little I know." I have been blessed with a wonderful supportive family, and a love of life and learning.
I hope the same for all the Ramona graduates of 1966.
