Elizabeth's Story
Life
Over the last 17 years, I've practiced law, been an analyst for the Senate Democratic Majority, been a makeup artist for feature films and was the Executive Assistant to Governor Richardson. It's was a lot of travel, with fancy hotels, helicopters, and little jets. The hours were VERY long, but the perks were amazing. The photo of me in the helmit and oxygen mask is from a ride in an F-16 last year. I don't ever expect to beat that. I learned to scuba dive in Australia and try to travel internationally at least once a year. I am now Deputy General Counsel for the New Mexico Department of Taxation and Revenue with an emphasis on labor and personnel issues. My brother Tige (and his wife) gave me two nieces and a nephew who I adore but don't get to see nearly enough. I'm engaged to a terrific guy who works in the movie business...... We bought a house in Eldorado with an acre and a half and have been enjoying the rigors of home ownership. Love to all E

reak who wore more eye makeup as her committment to christ increased. I still haven't figured out the correlation. Then I had a jockett who's feet smelled so bad, I had to lock her closet with her shoes inside. After that I got single rooms. I went to UNM, University of Rome, Humboldt State and UNM Law
Workplace
Over the last few years, I've been a criminal defense attorney for juvenile indigent clients, a family lawyer, deputy chief analyst for the New Mexico State Senate Democratic majority and a union makeup artist for films and commercials. Often I've done all the jobs concurrently. Private contract with PD's office while shooting a film, work the legislative session in the spring etc. Currently I'm the executive assistant to Governor Richardson. We just held the first democratic debate in Albuquerque which the Gov hosted. I get to travel, and meet all kinds of people. It's rather surreal sometimes and extremely interesting to learn about international, national and state politics from the inside.
