Elizabeth's Story
Majored in English at Brandeis.
Joined the Peace Corps, was a Volunteer in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa 1964-66
Married first husband, been carrying the "Z" name (Zelvin) around ever since
Had one son (and now two gorgeous granddaughters)
Worked in publishing
Published two books of poetry, I AM THE DAUGHTER and GIFTS AND SECRETS: POEMS OF THE THERAPEUTIC RELATIONSHIP
Married second husband (very happy after 32 years)
Went back to school (Columbia) for MSW
Worked in and/or directed alcoholism treatment programs all over NYC including the Bronx, Coney Island, East Harlem, and the Bowery

Coedited a book on gender and addictions and published many articles on alcoholism, codependency, dysfunctional families, women's issues, online therapy
Launched website LZcybershrink.com, do online therapy with clients all over the world
Have published three mysteries: DEATH WILL GET YOU SOBER, DEATH WILL HELP YOU LEAVE HIM, and DEATH WILL EXTEND YOUR VACATION, and a dozen short stories, three nominated for the Agatha Award and one for the Derringer Award for Best Short Story
Produced a CD of original songs, OUTRAGEOUS OLDER WOMAN
