i remember many of my friends a lot of them passed away before their time. barbara bloom, mary oleske, alice o'hagen, kevin lawlor, and john mcgowan. those are just a few and my sister roni and i talk about them often. i also remember mary murphy who was one of the murphy twins. she died on 9/11. the best and the brightest, they were all so dear and sweet. jean bennet and i were best friends in 7th and 8th grades. cliffy boylen lived around the corner from me and he was so cute. he was also called matty. he dated one of the cullen twins for awhile. michael henry and michel zumo were also part of the gang on 99th street. i often wonder what happpened to billy meteritondo who lived in the projects on 98th street.there were so many kids, 800 that attended st francis when we were kids. tommy kiernan, pat lawlor, vicki meredino, marianne nicolosi, laura mchale, john bennnet(who was sooo cute)! melvin hernandez, donald acosta, ramon ramos, bettyannne murphy, shelia flood, shelia donohue, and the regan twins as well as the cullen twins. i hope somebody remembers others from those wonderful days. i sound as if i write the obits column for the ny times. it seemd i'm writing my own version of happy days and angela's ashes. my own life has it's interesting parts as most do. i am twice married and twice divorced. i have thre...Expand for more
