Elizabeth's Story
My story.
After St. Pius, I attended Domincan College in Blauvelt, NY. I went for two years, then started working for a bank in NJ. Which is where I settled for a while. In 1989 I had a son and at the end of 1991 I move to the San Francisco bay area with my son and husband. I some got a job at a local bank as a branch service office and soon worked my way up to assistant manager of a very busy branch. In 1997 I gave birth to a daughter.
I studied and taught martal arts for 10 years, untill I destroyed my knee.

o hepl build a home, paint a school, but mostly to expose our kids of how other people (kids) live, with so much less than what we have. My son made the trip two years in row.His plan after he graduates with a degree in civil engineering, is to volunteer with Engineers Without Borders.
I currently work part time and am on the board of a non-profit org Expeditionary Learning Parent Teacher Association. I volunteer at my daughters middle school. I enjoy hiking and camping and being with my family.
I visit New York and New Jersey every summer since my family still lives there. And even though I live near the beautiful city of San Francisco, I will aways be a New Yorker at heart.
