i try to avoid it whenever possible. I like to just go with the flow, adapting to any given situation the best i can. I've had my share of misery and disappointment in life and have survived to see another day. My best memory was freshman year at the Mt Sac Invitational. I was on the varsity cross country team and my dad, Lou Medina, along with my brothers came to watch me race. I was in 4th place and quite content until we came up to the last hill, hidden from the spectators view. I had run this course with my dad every Sat. for years and it was about to pay off. The girls from Walnut High literally stopped to catch their breath one by one i passed them and appeared in first place when at the top. My dad and brothers were so excited when they saw me in first place crossing the finish line. That was my greatest moment freshman year...........The worst time in my life was when my father passed away. I don't know how I made it through those days. I was a complete wreck. I will always remember and cherish all the times i spent with those close to my heart that death has taken from me. I try to make the best out of every situation i find myself in and do my best to help others in need. That's just me.......................".
