Elizabeth's Story
Well, after graduating from High School I worked in the Banking Industry for eleven years. Started in the keypunching dept. Promoted to New Accounts Rep. Became a Teller, then promoted to Head Teller. Became the New Accounts Manager, Head Teller. Trained staff. In 1988 I moved to San Antonio, TX to be close to my parents who retired there. Still in the Banking Industry. Then I switched to the Medical field. Started as an appointment secretary. Worked my way to a Medical Assistant. Worked for Medical Groups in Texas. Learned the insurance side of the Medical Office. Hired at HealthSouth Physical Therapy. Re-organized their verification department, trained staff. I was offered a Management position at a doctor's office to run the office. Since my vast medical experience in all areas I was promoted and began my management career, was successful in running a Medical Practice.
I missed the four seasons and moved back to Illinois, not Indiana, and became a Front Office Medical Manager to an OB GYNE Medical practice which I enjoyed. I was offered a position for an Oncology Facility I could not refuse. I now live in Palatine, IL...Expand for more
in the west suburbs of Illinois. I have great friends I enjoy getting together with especially in the City. I workout at least five days a week. I live a healthly lifestyle. At present not dating anyone serious. Just dating. I enjoy my job, friends, and family. Just alittle about where I've been and whereI am now.
Update, June 0f 2009, I accepted a management position for an out-patient surgical center, in Illinois, once again an offer which was hard to decline. As, they say, don't settle for less, reach for the stars. Due to my strong work ethics I have made myself very valuable to the practices that employed me. One needs to enjoy what they do in order to be the best! Each position I accepted was well thought out, and I have been successful in leading teams to be the best they can be. My hard work paid off.
I get to enjoy my downtime, whether traveling, participating in sports I love, museums, the arts, theater, galleries, working out, and much more.
I am no longer the shy girl I was in high school. I am a go getter, career driven, with a fun personality
Update I now live in the city. Love It!! West Loop.
