Elizabeth's Story

I married my high school sweetheart, Bob Bixby in 1966. We left CA in 1968 to go east so Bob could go to grad school. He got his PhD in 1972 and has taught at several universities since then. We have been in Houston since 1984. He retired from Rice University and is now running the second software company he has started. We have three kids--two boys a...Expand for more
nd a girl. Our oldest son has two daughters and our youngest son has three boys. Their sister, the middle child, is a doting aunt and a career woman. I do volunteer work with Charity Guild of Catholic Women and Rice University Athletics. I love to spend time with the grandkids. I also make quilts. I like to travel with Bob and we both like to eat out.
