Life
Where to start? My family and I are living in E.B. Just couldn't bring myself to leave! I have been married to my husband, Ken, for a little more than 12 years, and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Brittany is 17 and heading into her senior year at EBHS, and Cathryn is 9 and going into 4th grade at the Middle School. I occasionally run into parents of their friends and say "Don't I know you?" Haven't decided yet if that's funny or scary.
Workplace
Never did fulfill that early ambition to become President. But, all in all, I can't complain. After 1 year at Suffolk University, I decided college wasn't for me. I worked a couple of office jobs, enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserve and blew out my knee, then went to work with my Dad at Winchester/U.S. Repeating Arms Co. ly after I got married, the stress of working for a company going down the toilet got to be too much. So what do I do? I go to work for an airline in the reservations area! I started working for Delta Air Lines in Boston at the airport, starting in reservations and then moving into customer service. I loved it, was pretty good at it, and made a lot of really good friends. Although, after 9 years and the aftermath of 9/11, it was time for a change. When they closed the Boston Res Center, I took a severance package. After a couple of months on unemployment, I found my current job. I work for an electronic component brokerage company in Hingham called Semi Source. I love it there. John, my boss, is great to work for. He really cares about all of the staff. If you need time off for any reason, it's your's. And he gives real cash bonuses for meeting goals. I'm happier at this job than I've ever been!
