Elizabeth's Story

I got married on 3-8-1975. Had my child on 4-22-1975. We lived in Va. then went to Fla. and then we came back up here in 1980. And been here ever sence. Our son is married has two children a girl and a boy. They are very smart children. I get them off to school and off the bus on certain days. I am now going to college. And love it. I live here in Caton. I really haven't been up to too much. I have been very busy taking care of everyone else. I'm sure you all want to know if I ever got my GED? and the answer is yes. I got it in June,2001 here from BOCES in Horesheads. I've been working in factory's and a waitress and working in day care's and was a foster parent here for a few years. So, I have been very busy. And we are very proud of our son and his little family that they have built together. They are both hard workers and they would do anything for their children. I guess this is it. Well, my life came to a change, for I am seperated from my husband. but, it will not stop me from doing what I want to. For right now I am going to college and I enjoy going to college. Not only doing this I'm the type of person who always wants to help everyone out no matter what the problem is, besides I am a good listner. I like meeting new people and keep up with my school friends (high school). Friends are important to me. I am living with my boyfriend, his name is Dennis Tanner and we both live here in Caton in his home. We use to date when we went to CFA. Who would of thought we would hook up again. We are happy together. We do all kind of things together. He makes life...Expand for more
interesting. I won't give his name at least not yet. He works the second shift everyday except Saturday and Sunday. Which I'm glad of that. That's when we spend most of our time together, with me going to college and him going to work. We chat back and forth on the cell phones. I guess I should say we text. I really don't have a child hood memory that I can think about. My child hood memory wasn't the greatest only memory I can remember was when I first came to CFA and I met this guy who I never thought I would I end up with him. I'm glad that we are together to this day right now. He makes me so very happy. Never thought I would be happy like I am now. I'm not sure how many of you remember when him and I use to date or even remember me at all that's the question for classmates who graduated in 1975. I always wanted to be a helper to everyone such as a case manager when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right. I always go off by myself and just cry it out and I feel much better. Or sometimes face what is bothering me. I like listening to bluegrass music or just go down to the pond and watch the fish or the birds or even go swim if it is in the summer time. In the winter I just play games on the computer or do my school work. I am now with the man of my life. His name is Dennis Tanner. We have been together now for almost 5 years. He is so wonderful. If anyone remembers, I use to go with him at CFA and at West High. He makes me so happy and have a lot of fun being with him. I live with him here in Caton.
