Elizabeth's Story
I got married the summer of graduation and am still married to Mark Perrin. We have two adult children, Joyce and David and are blessed with three grandsons. They are a very special part of our lives.
Mark and I started out living in a small studio apartment in downtown Seattle. He was working at a tire retread business and I went to ITT Peterson School of Business and got an Business Office certificate.. Once I graduated, he went to ITT and took computer classes and he became a computer operator.
We moved onto Raineer Avenue in Renton when I became pregnant with Joyce. It was a two bedroom apartment and it was nice. After Joyce was one year old, we bought a house in Pacific and we are still living there. No more mortgage! Hurray!
The children had a nice quiet neighborhood to grow up in with a few kid...Expand for more
s to hang out with. They were within walking distance for elementary school and then bussed for Jr and Sr. high school. They had the typical pets, dogs, cats, gerbils, turtle, parakeets and even a snake. Both graduated from high school, Joyce went to college and became a teacher and David is a manager at Fred Meyer in Bothel, WA. Both are married, with children and happy.
I am currently a manager at the Boeing Company where I have worked for over 25 years. We also have our own vending machine business which is fun to take care of. Mark and I attend Jovita Baptist church in Edgewood, WA. We are looking forward to coming to the reunion and seeing classmates. I lost touch with so many, I would be happy to see Loretta Powell, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. Paul Geyer, first boyfriend, and many others.
