Elizabeth's Story
I graduated early from Medina in the winter of 1983, then entered Ohio University in the spring of '83. In 1988 I received a Bachelor's degree in magazine journalism, with a minor in philosphy from O.U.
I then had two t.v. internships on talk shows--"The Morning Exchange" at WEWS Ch. 5, and "A.M. Cleveland" at WKYC Ch. 3.
My sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and her husband with malignant melanoma in the late 80's. They died 23 days apart, and left behind 3 boys that her friend and her husband raised with their 4 children.
Their story was covered by the local television and media and appeared in newspapers across the U.S. and Canada.

I helped care for my mom after my sister died. As her health situation progressed, I became an STNA and provided all her home care. Mom died in May 2007. I was with her when she died.
I publish a small national newsletter, "Spiritchaser", since 1994. I interview people I am drawn to: authors, celebrities and everyday people who have overcome obstacles and increased their faith.
I have an A.D.D/ type/ learning disability that I work around!
