rkplace My career has been varied and exciting. I have always worked in or around politics and the legislature. After graduating college I moved to Albany, NY and worked in the NY State Assembly. I had served as the Ad Man for a local mayor who had run for the Assembly and lucky for us, he won. He is now the Governor of New York. While we still keep in touch, you can usually find me at home with the kids. I also worked for a few trade associations, the American Academy of Ophthalmology in San Francisco, CA. I returned to NY after the earthquake of 1989 - blizzards can at least be predicted. I then lobbied for the National Federation of Independent Business in Albany. Where I met my now husband. He from western NY and runs the family businesses so I accepted a job with the Northeaster Retail Lumber Assoc (running their gov't affairs office). I stayed employed until my son was born and then our daughter came three years later. Now I pour my heart and soul into their Montessori school and Rotary.
