Liz's Story
Life
After moving every two years with Miguel's job advancements, we settled in Central New Jersey surrounded by Liz's family and began to grow our own family. Marjory was two and then I had Tony in 1990, followed by William in 1996. Miguel invested his life energy to growing our lawn care company, Fairway Green, Inc.(google it) with my family. After ten years of enormous devotion and business sense growth and development, Miguel was ready to move closer to the family he has in the US without joining them in Florida. as not easy on the children but even they found Elon to be a perfect small town environment that reminds me of growing up in Ridgefield. We formed Emerald Green, Inc. named for Miguel's birthstone, the State gem and the first gem mined in North Carolina. Each year we become more happy with our choice. We wish all of you success and happiness.
School
Does anyone from the Class of '79 remember skinny dipping in that pond near the Pepperidge Farm outlet store. We dipped until the local cops started to break it up! It was CRAZY fun!!!!!!We were wild in HS but we still don't have to tell our children, do we?
