Ella's Story
2022 Update: Life
Still living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Love this state. Four grandkids - love 'em, wish they lived closer. My dad died two years ago (at 100). Mom is still going strong at 101. Those of you in the Studio City area may remember Kit Kraft - that was our family business. My dad started it, my brother Mike took it over when he retired. Well Mike retired last year, closed the business and sold the building. No more Kit Kraft. A strange milestone.
2022 Update: Travel
Yay! Finally traveling again. Spent a month in Portugal in April. Loved it. Beautiful place, friendly people. And just got back from three weeks in Morocco. After avoiding Covid for nearly three years - well, my husband and I brought back a special souvenir from Morocco. Covid. But all those vaccinations must have helped keep it a mild case. Still recovering our energy. Anyway, Morocco is interesting and challenging but still, worth it.
Next? Maybe Norway / Sweden / Denmark with a stop in the Netherlands to see old friends. Dunno. Just happy to be travel...Expand for more
ing again.
2021 Update: Retirement
Did I say I was too restless to retire? Ha! Retired a year ago (yep into the pandemic) and love it. Somehow, there is always something to do...or not. Yearning to travel again though.
Older stuff:
Life
LIfe is just peachy keen. Married and divorced twice. Three kids - all grown up - well, not living at home anyway. Home is in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Quit my job of 11 years as UNM Hospital's Executive Director of IT about a year ago. Dabbling in film production now. I just finished line producing The Duke City Shootout - a filmmaking festival - where 7 short movies are shot and edited in one week.
Looking for what's next cuz I'm too young ;-} and too restless to "retire".
School
School? I wish I could remember more about high school. I think I didn't like it much. There was a history teacher who was great (wish I could remember his name). And a whacky geometry teacher. An eccentric French teacher. And I didn't hang out with the in crowd. I hung out with Shelley Shaw (anyone know where she is?).
