Ella's Story
Life
Hi, this is Ella (Speed) Harding. Remember when we had our fifteen year reunion -- and I had the most kids? Well, I have nine, seven girls and two boys, and now eight grandchildren...and have just graduated the last one from high school. Still married to my one and only, John. I hope many of you have been so blessed. We have settled into the eastern mid-south and love the smoky mountains here around us. I guess you , like we, are only a few years now from retirement. Hard to believe!! I have been busy raising kids and tending to schedules, etc. Fortunately, I have not had to be in the daily workforce grind,...just behind the scenes as MOM. I still sing alto, and sometimes enjoy tenor. I play for church on the piano or organ. I got into breadmaking, crochet, and more music, classroom and school volunteering, swedish weaving, reading, family hi...Expand for more
story, travel, and taking kids to basketball, soccer and swimming. They marched in the high school bands, and sang in the vocal groups. I have enjoyed more than my fair share. Several were excellent in studies, too, and had scholarships, college, and work honors. They all still get together for the Holidays which is wonderful every year. Most live nearby so we see them often.
I would enjoy hearing from anyone who remembers me, and would like to get in touch. I often think about the days in chorus plays and concerts, and classmates, teachers I enjoyed, and the feel of the old school hallways. Oh, well, I am just rambling on.... contact me. erh1750 on yahoo
I also found a few good old pictures of Pensacola on the web in a community site that is there. Remember Tiger Bay? How funny ... Tiger Bay club! We'll see you all again ,... Ella
