Ellen's Story
I moved around after college and settled back in Valdese in '93. I married Roger Norris, class of 81, in 2006 and we are raising two teenagers, one a senior in high school and the other starts high school next year. They keep us busy!!!
I work on Main Street in Valdese in the financial and investment planning business and still love politics and research.

We enjoy taking big group camping trips and chillin and grillin with friends and family.
I lost my mom to cancer several years ago and would like to get more involved in research and funding to prevent cancer. It's a MONSTER!
I have not slowed down much in 25 years but have learned to focus on the important things in life. A few years ago I became a founding member of a wonderful church and developed a close personal relationship with God, who is now the center of my being.
