Ellen's Story
Life
I am a new grandma. Samantha Brie , 6lbs. 11oz. 193/4 " born on June 11 2007. She and her mom live with me now. I watch the baby all week so that she can make some kind of a living. It is hard with my disability but she is the love of my life.
My son has graduated H.S this year and is putting off college until the spring. He is trying to make some money first to rebuild his mustang which is his heart and soul. My husband changed careers to boating from computers. Computers are not what they used to be. You would be surprised how many people can still afford their boats with the price of gas. Those people are willing to pay anything to have a top notch mechanic look at their boat and my husband is more than happy to help them out.
My disability is still getting worse. I went from a size 16 to a 3 in a few months. They ruled out cancer so far but we are still checking. I am in the middle of trying to get my insurance company to get me a Jazzy. Walking is getting harder by the day. I know my son will be in it more than myself though.
Everything else is pretty much the same. my middle girl still getting hitched in oct. of 2008. we are very excited about that. My oldest grand daughter is now 10. Time really flies.
Has anyone heard about Roger Schalk? I would love to know what he is up to.
I will update again soon. Hope all is well with everyone.
Love Ellen

iends thought that was a cool idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have less pain, more drugs, and ability to walk correctly to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Roger schalk, because he was my first love.

If I could improve my home, I'd remodel my kitchen and add on a jacuzzi. My dream home would be a log cabin.
If I won $100 million, I'd give 10 mill of it to my kids, then spend the rest on myself, my husband and my house.

My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely right.
My best friend would tell you I'm a loner, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as out going.
I share my home with my whole family, which I find crowded.
In 10 years, I hope to be dead. I'm going to get there by doing what i'm doing now.
My first job was at hardees, where I got paid nothing to wash tables. What I remember most about it is I hated it.
my hero is Dr. Dowling who made it possible for me to walk again. I love that man
my kids have taught me to like myself just the way I am
I still live in t-shirts andd washed out jeans
