Ellen's Story
Hi! After high school, I went to Trinity College in DC. While there, I got an English degree, went to Oxford for a year, learned to row, interned at a PR firm, and taught myself how to use word processing by reading the manuals (who reads those?). Poring through the manuals, I had an epiphany: finally, something to do with my English degree!

ars, and I'm still working in the software industry, designing applications for the web. I still write docs, but it's no longer delivered "by the pound."
In between, I moved to Atlanta in 1991. I met my husband, Tim, at a laundromat in town (seriously), and we now have an 8-year old daughter.
