Ellen's Story
Life
In 1985 I married the love of my life, Michael, and have been wonderfully happy ever since! We spent our first 6 years of marriage in Oscoda, MI where I worked as an X-ray tech for a local Dr. In 1991 we moved to Montgomery, AL where I went back to school at Auburn Univ. and obtained my BS in nursing. After graduation I went to work in a local hospital in the ICU. By 1995 it was time to move again, this time to Ft Walton Beach, FL. This time I went to work for a neurosurgeon doing office nursing. VA in 1997 to study with the USMC then returned once again to FL. I started working Internal Med in VA and upon our return to FL I continued on that same path. This past summer (2004) Michael retired from the USAF and we are so very pleased to be back in MI surrounded by family. Over the years I have been so fortunate to gather as many friends as I have and am looking forward to entertaining them in our new home which should be completed this spring (2005). Michael and I are both looking forward with anticipation to this next stage of our lives.
