Hi All,
I'm alive and well and living in New Zealand. I've been married for 20 years to a great guy I met when I was a young pup of just 22. We have 2 daughters, aged 9 years and 2 years. Yes, I got a late start, but you know what they say " better late than never". I LOVE being a mom and was motivated by my youngin's to find a safe, kind, small, green country to live in. We've been in NZ for almost 5 months and it's great so far. I'm hoping to give my kids the kind of childhood I (and you) had where we could run outside and play with our friends, ride our bikes, skate, go to the park, etc. I have been ...Expand for more
an at-home mom since my eldest was born, and I don't plan to go back to work. My husband, Howard, retired early from an Engineering career, and has taken up acting. We are making new Kiwi friends, but miss our family and U.S. friends. I can hardly understand the funny accent, but I'm hoping in time I'll get used to it. I'd better get used to it because my youngest daughter will surely gain the accent when she starts school. Hope you are all well and have found a place in your life that you are enjoying.
