Ellen's Story
Life
I studied in Germany for a summer (1958) through a scholarship program at Kalamazoo College. I graduated in '61. I taught in Waukegan from '61 to '72. I earned my MA from U. of Mich. in '67. I got married in '68 & had a daughter in '69. In '72 I started teaching at Mchenry Comm. H. S. & retired from there in '94. We had two dogs & often t...Expand for more
raveled with them (we had a trailer) to Door County, WI. We often traveled out West & to Canada (also with the trailer & dogs).In 2011 we adopted our first small dog, a rat terrier. In 2015 my husband passed away after a long illness. Our daughter lives and works as an independent hair stylist in Seattle, also enjoys travel both here & abroad.
